Carson's 1st Birthday

We attended a birthday party this past weekend for Carson, the son of our friends Erin & Paul. It was great to see them, as it has been since before Christmas. All the kids have grown and changed so much. We've included picture from the party below; there are some other pictures thrown in at the end.

The kids have been very active lately. Both are crawling and pulling themselves up on things, walking along the couch, getting into everything they shouldn't. They both babble and I would swear I hear them say dada a lot. It is very cute to see them notice us, get huge smiles on their faces and crawl to where we are. We are starting to incorporate baby sign language, so hopefully in the next few months we can understand better what they are wanting.

July 4th Weekend

We had a great time on the 4th. Liz and Sarah were back in Nebraska with their boyfriends, Bryan and Randy. We had a bunch of family over to my parents place; most of the time was spent playing in the water. The kids really enjoyed the pool, as the picture below will show. Ian cut his second tooth while we were back. He had to catch up with his big sister!
