Our first Halloween was a great success. We all got dressed up, some of us more than others, and ventured out into the neighborhood. It actually gave us a good excuse to meet some of our neighbors. No candy this year, but I'm sure we will get plenty of that in the years to come.

Just swingin
We wanted to get out and enjoy the nice weather before it gets too cold. We walked around the Roca Berry pumpkin patch on Sunday, then went to the park tonight. Below are some pics from the pumpkin patch and a video from swingin.

10 Months
A lot has been going on in the past month. I realized that this past weekend when my parents visited and they were surprised to hear that Sofia is walking and that both kids now had four teeth. Just after their nine month checkup, both kids got sick. Sofia had two ear infections, a sinus infection, pink eye and thrush. Ian "only" had a couple ear infections and a slight bit of pink eye. Ian picked up a bit of a virus as well..which Ashley also had for a week. I was fortunate to not get sick; tiptoeing around the house for a couple weeks.
We welcomed two baby boys to the family this past month. Cooper was born September 13th and Cael came along October 5th. Both are really cute and doing great. Ian and Sofia are excited to have some new friends to play with. We now have five kids under the age of two on Ashley's side of the family! I'll post pics soon.
Now that we have both kids walking, the house has really opened up. We decided to no longer "fort off" the living room and instead let the kids go. They especially like to rummage through the kitchen drawers. The kids have also started talking a little bit. Ian will say "uh oh" before and after he drops things. The last couple days they have learned to wave bye bye.
Below is a video of Sofia (and Ian) walking at Cooper's baptism.
