1st Birthday

It's hard to believe, but the kids turned 1 this week. We had a party for them last weekend, inviting family and a few friends. They both enjoyed their cupcakes, especially the chocolate ones:) They got a lot of great gifts, much of it musical. We could easily start up a family band...look out Brady Bunch!

The kids also had their year checkup this week. Both doing great and growing. Ian is actually in the 80% for height...maybe he has a chance to be tall. They are also now eating "grown up" food. No more yucky jars of carrots! They can say a few words and are also picking up on signing. Running (and falling) seem to be more fun that walking these days and there are plenty of bruises to show for it.

Thanksgiving Travels

The kids took their first plane ride over Thanksgiving when we flew out to visit my grandma in Phoenix. They did great both flying out and back. We went out on Thanksgiving day and came back the following Tuesday. Pretty relaxing vacation. My whole family joined up and we stayed at grandma's retirement village. Here are some pics...
