Before I became a mom I would never have allowed my 18 month old child to eat chips and salsa, let alone let him have it for dinner...
but Ian proved to us once again that he is a big boy who likes to do big boy things. Ian - our good eater - passed up his main course tonight for corn chips. Good ol' salty corn chips. I was amused when he reached his chip toward the salsa dish, so I let him give it a try (at least he would get some veggies). His chubby little hand held tight to the chip and away he dipped. Dip, bite, dip, bite. Daddy says we need to work on the double dipping, but for 18 months, the kid is a pro!

Did Sofia try it too?
Sofia didn't try the salsa. She was too busy refusing to sit in her high chair and wiggling around in our laps to notice what Ian was doing. It was not the most pleasant restaurant experience, but we did get a good laugh from the salsa episode.
